Snapshot Saturday

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books.  If you are interested in participating, just post a photo (new or old), but make sure it's not one that you found online.

I cut open this watermelon last night and this is what we saw.....

It looks like a cat face to me.  Or some weird Mother Goose illustration--something from Alice in Wonderland.
I was concerned that it was ruined, but I cut it up anyway and we gave it a try.
I was pleasantly surprised!
It was one of the sweetest tasting watermelon's I've ever had.

Would you have eaten it?

I thought it looked like a smile too. I would have eaten it, although I would have been concerned about it being over ripe. I love watermelon though, so I definitely would have given it a taste.

Of course I would have eaten it. Sometimes, the funnier something looks, the better it tastes. Down with perfect looking fruits and vegetables!

Yes, it does look kind of Chesire cat-ish! But I'd definitely eat it--cause it looks like a very good watermelon.

I definitely would have eaten that. I've seen them cracked in the middle before but never symmetrical like this one. I see the kitty face too.
