I cut open this watermelon last night and this is what we saw.....
It looks like a cat face to me. Or some weird Mother Goose illustration--something from Alice in Wonderland.
I was concerned that it was ruined, but I cut it up anyway and we gave it a try.
I was pleasantly surprised!
It was one of the sweetest tasting watermelon's I've ever had.
Would you have eaten it?

Wow! That is so impressive....and yes, I think I would have eaten it, too.
BTW, your blog header, and now the watermelon, have made me hungry! LOL
Here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT
What a crazy watermelon! I think I would have eaten it as well and I might even have meowed as I did it :-)
I thought it looked like a smile too. I would have eaten it, although I would have been concerned about it being over ripe. I love watermelon though, so I definitely would have given it a taste.
Looks like a friendly lion's face to me. Very unusual discovery!
Hi!
Looks like a butterfly to me. And yes I definitely would have eaten it. Have a great day!

Wow, brilliant! I was thinking cat face before I read that you'd thought that too!

Here's Mine
Of course I would have eaten it. Sometimes, the funnier something looks, the better it tastes. Down with perfect looking fruits and vegetables!
Yes, it does look kind of Chesire cat-ish! But I'd definitely eat it--cause it looks like a very good watermelon.

I would have eaten it!
Looks really cool!
I thought it looked like a cat's face too. Yup, I'd have eaten it... after I took a picture and posted it on my blog ;) LOL
Before I read your caption I saw a butterfly! I do see a cat face as well now that you mention it!
I definitely would have eaten that. I've seen them cracked in the middle before but never symmetrical like this one. I see the kitty face too.
Love it, what a surprise!
It does look like a face! Now I want some watermelon.
