Do you want to know why? I've been ill and I can 'smell' everything in double or triple strength! The cantaloupe I bought today? Every time I walk into the kitchen I am about bowled over with cantaloupe smell. The garlic that was in the chicken soup? Again....it smells soooo GARLICKY!! And the perfumed lady standing in line at the pharmacy? Peee U!!!!
Does that every happen to anyone else? Besides pregnant women, I mean? I have strep throat so I don't have an upset tummy or anything (just a high fever and a very sore throat), but I can smell things ultra strong.
It kind of drives me crazy.
(and I am on an antibiotic now and am feeling better, thank you)
Is this a good segue into some great chocolate pie? Perhaps not? Well, it smelled REALLY GOOD.
Maybe I should go away and come back with another post?

Ah OH, get better soon! Maybe fresh flowers would be nice.....
That is really weird. I've had strep many times in my life and a heightened sense of scent was not one of the symptoms. I hope you feel better soon.
Strep throat is awful! I hope you're back to normal soon. I don't smell things extra strong when I'm sick.
Strange. I wonder if it could be a side affect from the antibiotic??
I'm sorry :( I have been sick too. Hopefully your better today!
