Once upon a time I did Teaser Tuesday, and now, I'm back.
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along!
This is what you do:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
• Open to a random page

but when I opened my book--there was a naughty word! It caught my eye (but I couldn't bring myself to put that word on my blog)...and let me tell you, it was a teaser! I turned to another random page (but I'm still chuckling about my first teaser sentence) and this is what is said:
"Apparently he had a porn business. At least that's what they neighbors told me. He was a deacon in one of the local churches here, too."
