Saturday Snapshot

Last month we went up to Oregon to open up the family cabin. It rained almost the whole weekend. It was so green and beautiful.  One afternoon, during a break in the rain, we  took  a walk down to the lake, and this is what we saw:

What is it?
And why is it in the middle of a wooded state park area?

An endangered spieces.

Wow, haven't seen one of those in a long time! And with a phone book, too! I pulled out our phone book yesterday to find a number, and my son said, "Mom!" along with a big eye roll. Yup, I am old school.

Have a great weekend!
