Give-Away Winner

Last month on the last day of Armchair BEA, we had a give-away.  You can see my original post here.

I am so happy she won --- because apparently she has a book dress.

Sounds like a fun outfit to me!

And we have the same name.

 

an aside--I just had a grand-niece born and her name is Alice.

and a Great-God niece whose name is Hazel.

I do like how a lot of the older names are making a comeback, but, I don't think Debbie will.

At least I hope not .  But that's just me.

These same socks --- well okay, not these same EXACT socks, but socks just like them, are also the prize for my Lit Wits book club, which meets next Friday. 

They  are a yearly prize--it's for different things.  Last year we played Book Bingo and the winner won a coffee mug with the GREATEST FIRST LINES EVER.

This year the socks are going to the person who reads every single book.

There could very well be a tie tho, in which case we will do a drawing.

I want some Country Bob's

I am feeling seriously deprived. I have never had Country Bob's sauce. I cannot find it in Nevada. Look! My market shelves have no "Country Bob's".

Rachelle at, Mommy? I'm Hungry, is having her 2nd blogoversary and is she being generous!! All week long she is having give-aways to celebrate her birthday bash. That is GIVE-A-WAYS to you and me!!

I want some Country Bob's so bad, that I made the Handy-Man take pictures with his cell phone in the store last night. He stood there and waited while people walked by, and then he took the pictures of our barren of Country Bob's sauce shelves!

Nope, no Country Bob's!! But there was some Phil's. I have no idea who or what this is, but my father-in-law's name is Phil. So we snapped a photo.

Still... it's not Country Bob's!

And then he snapped some Budweiser sauce, because he had never seen any before.

Still....it's no Country Bobs!

(sigh) there is only one Country Bob's. And if I don't' win the give-away, I'm going to have to do some serious mail-order, because this is driving me crazy.

Randomly of course, because how could a person really choose one out of so many great recipes? I really am going to try them all....ask my family. I often have get togethers where I ask everyone to bring the same thing, so we can taste everyone's "best".
