First Chapter, First Paragraph, Tuesday Intros

Today is Tuesday--- which means I'll be joining up with Diane at Bibliophile By the Sea and her First Chapter, First Paragraph
Tuesday Intros.
Where,  bloggers post the first paragraph of a book they are thinking of reading --- and get everyone's opinion to see if it grabbed them from the beginning or not.

My paragraph:

Lou hoisted up her gown and winced as she tottered across the parking lot. the sparkly four-inch heals had looked so pretty in the box, but they felt like mortar and pestle grinding each bone in her foot.  She missed her green crocs.

What do you think?
Should I keep on reading?

My book:

Yes, Women's Fiction/Chick Lit but also a Foodie book.
(sigh) I love a good Foodie book.
Hope this one is a good one.

I know how her feet feel. Not sure this is one for me but I can relate to the opening paragraph so who knows!

I stay in my crocs as much as possible. Great start to the story. I'd keep going. I like the title too.
